About the Avenues

The Avenues became Salt Lake City's first neighborhood and is locally known as The Aves. The neighborhood lies on the northeast bench of the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City just south of downtown SLC and north of Sugar House. The southern boundary of the Avenues's Temple Street heading north, the Avenues neighborhood is built on the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains. The Avenues lie just northeast of downtown Salt Lake.
