About holladay

Holladay has a magical feeling that one can only experience by walking through the beautiful neighborhoods. It was officially incorporated on November 30, 1999. Although a relatively young city, the community’s rich history dates back much earlier as one of Utah’s earliest settlements. It was first established in the late 1840s when the John Holladay Party arrived in the Salt Lake Valley and made winter camp in the area. Nestled in the foothills of Utah’s Wasatch Mountain Range just south of Salt Lake City, Holladay offers easy access to not only the amenities of the metropolitan region but also the nearby canyons and national forest areas. The community is well known for its unique estate properties nestled in heavily wooded areas of century-old Cottonwood trees.
